Delete your CalGest account

This page explains how to request permanent deletion of your CalGest account and what happens to associated data.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Sign in to the CalGest mobile app.
  2. Open Settings, then Profile.
  3. Under Danger Zone, choose Delete Account.
  4. Read the confirmation and confirm permanent deletion.

The in-app request starts immediately and cannot be undone.

If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@calgest.com from the email address associated with your account. Use the subject Account deletion request and include your organization name, if known. Do not send your password, customer records, or other sensitive business data.

We may ask you to verify ownership of the account. We aim to complete verified requests within one month.

Data that is deleted or disconnected

  • Your CalGest authentication account and personal user profile.
  • Your access to organizations is removed. Employee or customer records controlled by an organization may remain, but are disconnected from your user account where applicable.
  • If you own a CalGest organization, we start closing the organization and schedule its operational data for permanent deletion, including appointments, customers, employees, records, and attachments.

If your account belongs to an organization you do not own, business records controlled by that organization may remain. Contact the organization directly to request deletion of data it controls.

If your account is associated with an unusually large number of organizations or records, email us after making the in-app request so we can confirm that processing has completed across all of them.

Retention and legal exceptions

Operational account and organization data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days after closure, unless a longer period is legally required. We retain a minimal accountability record of the deletion request and its completion for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance. Billing and tax records may be retained for 10 years, and security logs or request metadata for up to 12 months. Retained data is limited to the applicable legal, security, or dispute-resolution purpose and cannot be used to restore the deleted account.
